Paihia Star Motel is located in Paihia, within 10 km of Opua Forest and 3.3 km of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Haruru Falls is 7.3 km from the motel and Kemp House and Stone Store is 27 km away. This was the most surprising find of our trip. Super clean with a breakfast that literally fed us all day! Trevor and Letia were exceptional hosts. You can even pick fresh tomatoes from the garden!

Cute motel with sea views from the balcony, as promised. Very comfortable inside, well laid out and clean. The kitchen amenities were top notch - good quality provisions, and even included ground coffee sachets for the plunger! Comfortable bed and lots of extra bedding, with a homemade quilt on top. There were lots of other homey touches throughout the apartment. I thought it was great value for money and a great place to base ourselves for exploring the Bay of Islands.
It is an awesome appartement combined with a 5 Star Hotel service provided by Wendy, the very kind and helpful host. Wonderful view from the big terrace to the Bay of Islands. Excellent daily breakfast provided, including freshly baked bread/croissants, fesh fruits and yoghurt every morning. Modern kitchen with a Nespresso machine. Nespresso, Tea, Native olive oil, Balsamico vinegar included. Even daily cleaning done.

Annie was such a warm, friendly and helpful host. She welcomed us with a beverage, crackers and a delicious homemade relish. She went out of her way to help us figure out our plan for visiting the Bay of Islands. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with a well furnished kitchenette. The yard and gardens were beautiful. We highly recommend staying at Aimeo Cottage.
Ideal location as a base to explore the Bay of Islands. Friendly and very helpful owner operators. Clean, comfortable, good shower. Parking right outside the apartment door, gas station 100 metres away, good supermarket just as close. 2 minute drive or 15 minute pleasant walk into Pathia. Wish we had stayed longer, next time we will

Really nice place with a lot of small amenities and a really cozy feeling. The studio is perfect for staying a few nights to explore the bay of islands, Since there is not much room to store the luggage, staying longer than a few days the studio becomes quite narrow.

Location was perfect for our stay with variety of restaurants close by. Paihia pier five minute walk and Waitangi Treaty Ground within walking distance. The view from the apartment was to die for directly facing bay of islands, included was your own garden patio.

Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.
I was sailing from the Bay of Islands Sailing Club so the location of the hotel was perfect, especially with the room (207) leading out onto the approach road to the sailing club.
