Well set up with a solar powered charging point for devices etc and with barbecue facilities. We loved the outdoor bathtub, hammock and swing area. The compost toilet was very clean. Overall a great experience.

Queen Room with Garden View and King Room with Garden View are not suitable for Pets. Everything was perfect! The property has a beautiful ground with an outdoor area by the river. The loft itself where we stayed was perfect. It’s very dog friendly with a gated garden for our dog to roam around. The space has everything we need and more! Chris and Val are absolutely lovely, such amazing hosts and we’d love to go back there. Thank you for your unrivaled hospitality :)

This recently renovated apartment is located 2.6 km from Paihia Beach and 7.9 km from Opua Forest. The apartment also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The apartment is beautiful, so tastefully decorated. We arrived late evening so it was dark. The owner had made sure that the lights were on so it felt really welcoming. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The views are phenomenal, you could spend hours sat on the balcony taking it all in. The host is very attentive and left towels and suncream ready so you can easily spend a day at the beach. It is a short drive into paihia where there is lots to see and do. We particularly enjoyed the half day island tour.
