In walking distance to shops, restaurants and the markets and located right in the historic center The woman at check in (I don't remember her name) was so lovely and helpful! The hotel itself is very nice. Our room was so comfortable with a comfortable bed and very nice shower. Breakfast was very nice. Great coffee, fruit, toast and natural juice we friendly staff. It was so nice that we decided to stay an extra night!

Pablo was on top of everything. The front counter was always helpful regardless of person. The continental breakfast was exquisite and not what you would expect. Quite an experience. We came to Morelia to see the Butterfly Sanctuary (El Rosario). We were told Morelia is one of the safest places to stay in Michoacan and we organised a tour easily (MIchMexGuides) that picked us up from our hotel... The cathedral at night was particularly fun (fireworks & party) and the town cute... We saw the Sweets Museum, Calle de las rosas, The Artesanias Market & the Dance of the Oldies etc... It was safe, nice to walk around... i bought a guitar :)

Morelia is a great weekend trip. There's enough to fill a whole day if you want to go-go-go. I was there for 2.5 days, and was able to see all the main sights at my leisure. Great restuarants. Museum of Michoacan's Artisans was the highlight of the trip! Great explanations of the handicrafts native to the state, and very well-priced gifts available for purchase.
The location is in the middle of Uruapan, a block from the main square. Uruapan is a very Mexican working town, without a lot of tourists. It is where avocados from the surrounding agricultural areas are processed and shipped out. There is a wonderful mercado a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is quiet and has a lovely inner courtyard. There is also a little restaurant inside the hotel run by a woman who was raised in rural Michoacán, who serves excellent traditional food. There is parking a block away.
Location, the daily breakfast is exceptional--lots of food, delicious choices and endless coffee. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and the owner is a delight to talk to, with boundless information about Patzcuaro and Mexico. They offer a transportation service to various towns in Michoacan and to San Miguel de Allende--I have used this several times and appreciate the door to door service.
Team was very very supportive to fight my stomach problems and even picked up my medicine from the next farmacia. Extraordinary!!!! Very positive surprise to find such a hidden gem in Mexican Country side. Beautiful architecture mixing classical elements of Michoacan Patios with modern structures. Perfection accomplished 👏
They sell soft drinks and snacks, apparently the hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a restaurant next door. There is availability to park the vehicle inside and outside the hotel The bus station of Morelia, Michoacán. it is across the street
Lu Cocina Michoacana was the best part of our stay. we highly recommend breakfast and dining at Lu’s! Very attentive restaurant and hotel staff. We appreciated the luggage service on our last day and the cleanliness of the room.

Beautiful location out of the city but close to freeway access to leave. Everything was well taken care of on landscaping and the property is huge! The restaurant was on the second floor large and had lots of windows so you could a great view of everything from there. The room had a back door to the pool area with table and chairs so you could sit outside and enjoy the pool right from outside your door.
Food is very good! Golf course is friendly, and nice. Staff is very helpful

I want to keep this place all to myself. It’s magical. The strategic locations of the various pools, the steaming hot water, the indoor pool—beautiful. Great place in the middle of the forest where you can mediate, do yoga, read and relax. And don’t forget to book a massage.
