located in a quiet place, surrounded by forest, only 400 m from the Riga-Veclaicene highway. Hotel Melturi offers double, triple and family rooms with a private bathroom and a TV. Great place near Cessis and Singolda. All the area is so beutiful..Nice peoole.Very clean.

Eco-friendly Karlamuiza Country Hotel is arranged in a building of the old manor. Today, spacious suites with separate kitchens and bedrooms equipped with up-to-date appliances are located there. Unbelievable location, it was great to have a time off from busy cities. We observed storchs right in front of our room.

Set in a historic building from the 19th-century, Bille enjoys a quiet location in the parish of Drabeši. Guests can enjoy a sauna and an indoor pool seasonally. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Beautiful surroundings to walk. Kitchen available to make breakfast even with proper coffee machine with beans. Host was very friendly. Pets are allowed which is great as we travel with our dog. Would definetely come back if travelling in Gauja Park.

All the things listed were there – coffee machine, lots of kitchenware, wi-fi, towels and cleaning supplies etc. The view outside the window was beautiful. The host – welcoming and friendly.

The place is a perfect getaway from busy citylife - the house is perfect for group of friends or coworkers; the facilities are modern, yet with a respect for the history and the nature surrounding the place is stunning. Ivita was great and welcoming host as well.

Having the deers peek into your room window was an experience to remember, especially for a kid! 🙂 And a hot tub under the starry night sky... An exceptional place and wonderful hosts!

Boasting a sauna, Brīvdienu māja ar pirti "Strautkalni" is situated in Ieriķi. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The holiday home has an outdoor fireplace and a sauna.... This is not one of several cabins on a property for tourists. This is a single, peaceful, charming log house on a private and spacious piece of land with your own water for swimming and generous gazebo which we enjoyed during a wonderful downpour. Our dog has not been this happy for ages, always a good sign!

There are beautiful nature trail starting from the bridge over Amata river near Melturi. At the begining of trail there are few small daphnes mezereum (flowering very early spring), then in spring there are hepaticas nobilis and anemones nemorosa, and other spring flowers flowering. Near the river you can find dactylorhiza flowering in the begining of summer. If you go a long distance at this trail, it is possible to see kingfishers - they fly along the river. If you like flyfishing, it is possible to catch grayling and brown trout at the Amata river. The forests and river here looks like Alaska - wild and beautiful.
Overall, nice architecture of the manor and the surrounding gardens are also very beautiful and neat. The surroundings, the nearby trails through the forests and along Amata river are exceptionally beautiful. The overall greater area around Kārļi is something to be explored if you like walks in nature or bike rides. Though we didnt try it, the sauna (Pirts in Latvian)could be also a experience though the pond near sauna did look like it needs some cleaning.
Awesome place for 3 families. Place is better than on the pictures. We enjoyed our stay.
