Hotel Gutenbergs was our choice due to its perfect location next to Riga Dome Cathedral, short walk away for the Half-marathon starting point. We were impressed as soon as stepping into the lobby. Super professional and friendly reception, not only allowed us to check-in early, but also offered us an extra breakfast! Our room on 3rd floor, small yet comfy, clean with lovely vintage vibe. Sadly we didn't have time to try out the rooftop restaurant, the view looks amazing! Definitely will book again next time returning to Riga.

The hostel is close enough to the bus and train station that you can get here walking in 10 minutes, and also close enough to the old center of Riga if you also want to talk there. There's a lot of shops and a supermartket that close at midnight which it was perfect for my late entry. The heating was fantastic especially after arriving during a cold night to Riga, I appreciated that it was already turned on. Comfy beds and good instalations, it's always nice to have enough stuff you have a cup of tea and a warm meal.

I liked the fact that the hotel is well located between the old town, national opera, freedom monument and the train station. Bus 22 (from Riga airport to Riga city center) stops near the hotel, so no need to take a taxi to reach the hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and the highlight of the breakfast is the coffee. Staying at the Avalon Hotel means that all the tourist attractions (Central Market, Old Town, House of the black heads, National Opera, Freedom Monument) are on walking distance

This excellent hotel is located in the middle of the old town of Riga, a short walk from a lot of tourist attractions and many good restaurants. The hotel consists of multiple buildings that have been renovated recently. My room was huge, looked great and modern, offered plenty of comfort, and was quiet. Breakfast was in the restaurant that is located inside the hotel complex. Food was good, with enough options for everybody. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

I have stayed before and as usual,the place is a good value for money,central and convenient. Night manager/auditor who was on a Saturday night/Sunday morning shift was a really nice guy! DJ and nightlife up in the Skyline was also good. I loved the vibe prices, not so much. I suppose you pay for the view and being so central. €15 for an Aperol where in town you will pay €8/9 in the Riga Old Town. However, I enjoyed the time in Raddison Blu Latvia.

Hotel Viktorija is in a great location, in easy walking distance of the centre and old town and well served by public transport. The staff are really friendly and helpful, our room was warm, comfortable and quiet and very well kept by the cleaning staff. We had a nice view from our room, and there is a cosy bar and lounge on the ground floor. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the area, in a fun and vibrant part of Riga. Loved it!

We wanted to change rooms and it wasn't a problem at all. The manager arranged a room with a view over the city. It was a gorgeous room (like the hotel, which is beautiful too), spacious, clean and stylish. The shower was a pure delight, the bed was comfortable and the couch was a pleasure to have coffee on. Breakfast is very good. It includes a buffet and freshly made hot dishes to order. We would go back to Riga just to relax in this hotel.

The room was big and well-furnished, and the view from the room was decent. The location is the best aspect of the hotel as it is just opposite the Riga Central bus station and located at the edge of the old town, so accessing tourist attractions can be done entirely by walking. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices from international to local cuisine. The staff were friendly and professional and check-in was smooth-sailing.

Freshly renovated and beautifully decorated flat with 2 bedrooms and 1,5 bathrooms. Amazing views across the river to Riga center. City center and old town are just a short 15min walk away. Well-equipped kitchen. Apartment is quite large overall. Bedrooms have clothes hangers, nice small lamps etc - everything needed for a comfy stay. Nice riverside walking paths and National library are right outside the door. Quiet building and elevator.

Staff is very professional and helpful. Due to our early flight, we arrived about 3 hours before check-in time, and we were very pleasantly surprised to be informed that our room is available immediately! Room was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was great, and the service level was impeccable. Location is perfect. We enjoyed our first trip to Riga and Dome Hotel, and we are looking forward to our next stay!

Good location in close vicinity to most tourist spots in Riga but on a quiet street so outside noise is not an issue, very good breakfast with some local products and generally good variety of food (some additional breakfast menu was also available), the stuff was very attentive and welcoming, the hotel also has got decent fitness facilities and a pool with an odd shape (very long and narrow, also quite cold).

This hotel is my usual spot to stay in Riga. It has changed name maybe couple of times, and currently is under Rija group. I highly recommend VEF hotel, not only to solo travellers like me. Is a usual place to stay for different sport teams, also ideally suits for couples. To stay at same kind of hotel at heart of Riga, you'll have to pay 2-3 times more. The bus/tram stop is right near the hotel.

This is a really well-run family hotel. It's slightly away from Riga's Old Town, but that is reachable with a 15-minute walk. It's also on the cusp of elegant Elizabetes Street, and there are restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast has good choices, and they are accommodating. The room was pleasant and clean, with good bathroom facilities. Staff was very pleasant as well.

Hotel located in greate location to explore Riga city. Public transport connection across the street from the hotel. You can reach old city center within walking distance (~15-20 min). Breakfast with wide food sortiment. Green area (beautiful park across the street). Did not experience any problems with disturbing noice level - it was silent during day and night.

We took a trip to Old Riga for two days and stayed at this beautiful hotel, ee took standard room with queen bed, it was really comfortable, rooms are super clean, easy access, location is superb. We also used pool and sauna, we were very lucky we were pnly one there. Breakfast was included in our stay, very reach variety of food available. I would give 10 out of 10

Room was very cosy and comfortable. It was cleaned every day. Staff was very helpful and friendly, we had some weird issue with the air conditioning and they took care of it immediately. The location is fantastic! If you want to experience Riga in the best way possible, you should consider this hotel because it is just 5 mins away from the old town.

I think it's a perfect apartment for solo travelers. It's located in a quiet, green area close to a bus stop. The owner provides you with a quick apartment tour and also gives you some tips for sightseeing in Riga and other locations nearby. The apartment has pretty much anything for a cozy stay.

It was my second time staying in this apartment and I will do it again if the opportunity arises. The apartment is very comfy and has everything one may need for a short visit in Riga. It is a walking-distance away from the center, which makes it a great place for a stay in Riga.

The hotel and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was good too. The lobby is nice too with a bar but we didn’t get to take advantage of that. Close to the airport but not really walkable. Bus stop outside for the 22 bus into Riga city center or airport.

Beautiful apartment in a super location. The huge bed was very comfortable! The staff were friendly and helpful, available via WhatsApp. Check in was really smooth. We loved this place so much we extended our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone staying in Riga.
