I can think of nowhere nicer to stay on beautiful Salina, if you want comfort coupled with a special character. Conveniently , it is a short walk from the port, bus stops and other tourist facilities. The sea, with a pebble beach as well as steps directly into the water, is down a short flight of steps from the B&B. Breakfast is served on the enchanting roof terrace and is copious and varied. The terrace can be accessed at any time of day, if you just want to sit and read or watch the sea. In the evening go up and chat to Giuseppe, who manages the bar and enjoy his extensive play list, covering everything from the Beatles to Chopin. I was enchanted and would love to return.

Just 164 feet from Punta Barone beach, I Cinque Balconi is 656 feet from the port on the island of Salina. It features air-conditioned rooms and a large garden with lemon trees. We loved the room, comfortable and spacious, the view over the seaside and then islands, the rural style focused on emphasizing through single items the eolian house. Staff is amiable and attentive, rooms and overall structure are very clean and newly done. We had a perfect stay and this place made our holiday a cherished memory. The boutique hotel also features a small restaurant which has the same style as the hotel, food is genuine, local and well presented, bossa Nova music in the background, it makes a perfect spot for a lovely dinner in the summer. Highly recommend.

The resort offers views of Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli islands, and a free-form pool.... We absolutely enjoyed our time here! The room with the terrace and sea view was great! It is central but still quite. The hotel is very well designed - it's cozy and still feels private even though there are a few rooms. The staff is very friendly. We were even able to get an early check-in and late check-out as we had problems with the ferries. We highly recommend this place!

Located on the Island of Salina, La Locanda Del Postino is in Pollara, just 1312 feet from the sea. This 4-star hotel offers free private parking, a traditional restaurant and rustic-style rooms. Staying in this charming family owned hotel was definitely the highlight of my 3 weeks in Sicily! The family who run the hotel was really helpful and gave me good tips what to do on the island, they made me feel very comfortable, they even let me stay one extra night after closing the hotel. My room was really clean, nicely decorated and had a stunning seaview with views to Filicudi Alicudi. From the terazza you could enjoy the sunset every evening while sipping your aperitivo. Breakfast was great and filling. Pollara as a location is a really small place with not much services (I think my hotel was the only one operating there during my stay and it was closing as well for the winter). I was also travelling during the low season, so I don't how it is during the hight season. But I didn't really mind the lack of services because this kind of peaceful and authentic place away from tourist massed was something I was looking for. Also there was amazing restaurant at the hotel that was visited by people from other parts of the island as well, so I was not left hungry! Also there's minibus going quite frequently to other villages on the island where there are supermarket, some restaurants and farmacy etc. but renting a moped or a car would definitely give you more freedom. Famous and beautiful pollara beach is at 15 min walking distance. All in all I enjoyed a lot and left the place with wistful feelings. Grazie mille!

Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea from a panoramic cliff-top in the island of Salina, the Hotel Punta Scario offers rooms with a balcony or terrace. We stayed here after an active two weeks and climbing Stromboli. It was the perfect end to a holiday, small boutique hotel with lovely staff and a quiet atmosphere. The pool is quaint with a lovely view and the beach worth swimming at (public beach). The view from our bedroom was stunning and the terrace upstairs serves drinks and food to watch sunsets - views for days. All in all lovely stay and highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is pure perfection. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. To make our stay even better, there was wonderful friendly, and professional staff that made us feel welcome from the first moment. I appreciate their attention to detail - they noticed that it was my partner's birthday so they came with a small cake to congratulate him :) The breakfast offers a nice variety of sweet and savory items so we were 100% satisfied.

Built in the beginning of the 1900’s and located on rocks sloping into the sea, it has the charm of a colonial villa and the comforts of a modern hotel. The property was beautifully situated in a remarkable and unforgettable location overlooking the ocean. There were two large terraces upon which to luxuriate overlooking the water. It was extraordinarily romantic and comfortable, and we were well looked after by the kind and helpful staff. The location is remote, but it’s just steps from the Ginostra ferry and it’s a place I shall always remember.

Malfa
Location was perfect! It is a realm of peace! Perfectly located behind San Lorenzo’s church and a stone throw from the bus stop. A very cosy and home like apartment. Matteo and his mum Lucia are very friendly and warm people, always keen to help and never losing their smile! Bonus for us was the orchestra playing in the villa opposite us. Malfa is the perfect place to stay in Salina, right in the epicentre and close to everything. The view from the terrace is absolutely spectacular! Gracias! Look no further, stay here!!
Malfa
Firstly, Salina is a magical island. Hard to beat. Le cassette is great if staying in Malfa. We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 5 of us and had a great stay. The apartment is spacious and the outdoor terrace is amazing with views that will take your breath away. Facilities are very comfortable and the garden is beautiful. Toto and Patrizia were really helpful whenever we needed anything (they are very proficient with GoogleTranslate for the English speaking crowd with minimal Italian!).
Santa Marina Salina
The bed was comfortable and the shower is nice and hot. The room was very clean. Although the B&B staff were not present throughout, the locals are helpful when asking for advice and guidance on hiking routes. The island is gorgeous and as keen hikers we really enjoyed the stunning views that Monte Fossa Delle Felci had to offer. We also stayed in Lipari and definitely found Salina to be the stronger island for tranquility and views.
We wished we stayed here 7 nights instead of 3. Everything about this hotel was incredible. A delicious breakfast, excellent aperitivo, stunning views from the pool, and so many nice, quiet places to rest and relax throughout the property. Salina and Hotel Ravesi were the absolute highlight of our honeymoon in Sicily. We would definitely recommend renting an e-bike from this hotel to explore the island. Staff went above and beyond.
The hotel L'Ariana ISOLE EOLIE in Salina Island, port Rinella, is a perfect place to stay on Eolie islands. What at amazing experience! I had the best Birthday ever. We got an upgraded to the room with a terrace with sea view. Clean, perfect location, amazing customer service. Next to the sea, clear water. Each rooms have slippers and robe provided. Breakfast has the best pastries. Room was very comfortable.
We loved our stay in Principe. All the staff and especially the owners made an extra effort to accommodate us. The hotel is quite big but actually provides a very homey and cosy feeling. Dining there is an excellent option. You can easily spend the entire day at the hotel pool, but it is also very close located to Malfa, a beautiful town, and various beaches. Salina is a wonderful island and this hotel the best way to enjoy it!
Lovely hotel situated above the beach. The premises are tastefully furnished with beautiful places to sit and overlook the sea. The location of the hotel is excellent - not too far from the ferry and near the pedestrian area with shops an restaurants. The owner Angela was very friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of information about Salina, for example very good hiking maps. We had a great time and hope to come back one day.
An easy walk from the port. We had a room with a balcony with and a sea view that was fantastic.. Complete relaxation on an island that least at the end of May was unaffected by the ravages of mass tourism. Also, the bus system on the island was functional and easy to use. We throughly enjoyed our stay this hotel and on the island of Salina that also provided many wonderful dining experiences.
This hotel has a beautiful style that perfectly blends with the surroundings. At breakfast we had freshly made cakes with beautiful views of Panarea and Stromboli. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated with colourful tiles. The pool offers a very quiet and relaxing environment and the restaurant in the evening was superb! Salina is the perfect place to stay to visit Eolie!
Possibly the best hotel we stayed in during our two week honeymoon in east coast Sicily, Vulcano & Salina, Malfa is delightful, the staff couldnt have been more helpful booking transfers, boat & scooter rental & vineyards etc. Spa was lovely and the food and drinks too! Plus the local beach is great fun and only a short walk away. Highly recommend.
The hotel is located in the beautiful town of Malfa on Salina island. The rooms are spacious and we had the best views overlooking the ocean. The pool area is fabulous and the breakfast on the terrace was very comprehensive. Loved the team working there with their caring and super helpful attitude.
Francesco runs a beautiful hotel and the food was excellent too, cocktails over the sunset from the garden, friendly conversation with the staff and other guests. I was lucky to arrive at the time of the festival of the village Saint Onophreus. The night here was a highlight of Salina.

Resort al Belvedere Salina was a truly magical place and was definitely the highlight of our whole trip. We stayed for three nights in the villa and then for a last night in two apartments as the villa was already booked. Both were fantastic but the villa was really amazing. It was spacious, very tastefully designed and furnished with the most amazing terrace ever with a spectacular view. We did not want to leave our view, we stayed out at night looking at the stars and I got up early to lay on the sunbeds and listen to the sounds of nature and watch the sea as the sun rose. It is an extremely peaceful and tranquil place. What makes it truly special are the wonderful and caring staff. It is clear that they put their heart and soul into this place and genuinely care that it is impeccable and that guests are happy. From the welcome drink and personal introduction to the island to the amazing home made breakfasts served by lovely young waiters. The breakfasts consisted of only homemade produce with all local ingredients - we were greeted with a different home made fruit juice every morning, a different freshly made cake and a selection of home made jams with delicious and unusual flavours as well as home made yoghurts and fresh fruit. There is nothing bad to say about this place except that our stay was too short. We hope to come back some day and will always recommend it to anyone visiting Salina. Thanks for making our stay truly memorable!

The view and pool were just amazing! We loved having our own terrace equipped with a hammock, chairs and a little salon table. This gave us some extra privacy when we wanted to have a glass of wine at our room.
Just a few minutes walk away from the landing point, easily reachable by foot. Lovely retro-kind feel about the apartment. Very nice hosts.
