My stay at Hotel Paradiso was exceptional - the team at the hotel was so friendly and responsive - even helping us with transport options to Brunate prior to check in. They were also very responsive via email which was helpful, especially as first time travellers to Italy. Everyone at the hotel was also really helpful with travel tip and activities in Brunate. The hotel room was perfect, with beautiful views of Lake Como and exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Paradiso !
Location was close to Lake Como and the ferry terminal for lake cruises. It was also a comfortable walk from the railway station at San Giovanni. The hotel is on a piazza with areas to sit and chat and a good atmosphere. Lots of restaurants are close by. The room was very clean, well presented and comfortable. Bathroom was also fresh and new with good facilities. The reception staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Hotel Albergo Firenze.
Varenna
Perfect location - incredible views right from your balcony! Apartment was spacious and very clean. Sina, their hospitality manager, was amazing! He was so thoughtful and kind - helping us with taxis to and from the train station, setting up dinner reservations and being incredibly friendly. The restaurant below us was great - we ate breakfast there every morning and enjoyed two dinners as well. We traveled all over Lake Como and Varenna and Divina Vita were our favorites!
Book a room with a balcony overlooking the lake and Varenna across the way. Relax with a drink of your choice and watch the activity on the square. Reception has answers to all your questions. Easy walking distance to the ferry dock, the bus depot, and a major grocery store. Restaurants all around. Hotel Garni Corona is a great choice for your stay. They met all my expectations and were a major factor in us having a great week on Lake Como.

The location is fantastic. The apartments are located right on Lake Como. The location is very close to the main square and ferry service in Menaggio. The location is really the big upside for this property. A welcome basket was provided which is a nice touch. They were responsive to questions. The apartments are in acceptable condition. Apartment #2 has three bedrooms and a nice living room area with a great view of the lake.
Fantastic hostel right by the water in Lake Como. Friendly staff, easy check-in, handy phone app for accessing the hostel / rooms, and complimentary drink on arrival. 5 bedroom dorm is spacious, has linen, personal power sockets, and large lockers. Private bathroom within the dorm was also great. Hostel has social events on most evening and the volunteers / staff / travellers are great.
Apartment located in the heart of historical centre of Como , very close to everything, Lake Como is literally block away , so is the baat station where you can rake boat to tge other towns of Lake Como , tons of good restaurants minute away . Apartment is big , very nicely designed and very clean with modern and fully equipped kitchen, AC worked perfectly. We were very happy with our stay .
Menaggio
Menaggio is a beautiful town on Lake Como. The apartment was about 10 minutes level walk from the ferry terminal. The apartment was very well presented and comfortable and had everything we required for our stay. Nicole kept in contact via WhatsApp to ensure that we had everything we required and made us feel so welcome. If we were visiting Menaggio again I would stay at Apartment Nicole 2.0.
The location, right on Lake Como, was fantastic. We had a lake front room with a large balcony/terrace, which gave us a beautiful view of the lake. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. With few restaurants nearby, the onsite restaurant, with a varied menu, made dining easy. I will recommend Hotel Regina to all my friends looking for a beautiful vacation spot on Lake Como.
Menaggio
The view of Lake Como from the hostel was incredible. And had close access to a small pebble beach. The downstairs had a busy bar and kitchen to provide breakfast lunch and dinner to locals and visitors alike. There were lots of young people staying at the hotel/hostel. Hotel rooms had lake views and the hostel rooms had nice big lockable drawers for all my stuff.
We really enjoyed our stay at Seven Park Hotel Lake Como. The views were amazing! The rooms were modern and clean. The hotel is based in a lovely quiet town in the north of lake como away from the busy towns. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The spa and swimming pool are great, such a nice way to relax after a busy day travelling around lake como.
Hotel Europa is a very nice family-run business. The owners are very friendly, accommodating and make you feel very welcome. They are happy to give you further tips to explore lake Como. The room was clean and comfortable. Last, but not least, the hotel restaurant serves excellent home made pasta. It was the best we had throughout our entire trip in Italy.
We loved our stay at Grand Hotel Menaggio. The view from our lakeside room was amazing. It was centrally located for all places of interest to us incl walks, restaurants and shops. It is situated less than 100m to the ferry terminal for transport to other lakeside villages and the view from our window of Lake Como and the snow capped mountains was magical
Our room had a magnificent view of Lake Como. The hotel is located at the center of town and walking distance to everything. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Hotel breakfast was good with plenty of food choices and drinks. Staff were great, friendly and very helpful. Covered parking was available for a fee and walking distance from the hotel.
Varenna
Apartment over a wonderful cafe on Lake Como in Varenna. There is a wonderful balcony where you can sit and watch the happenings of the area. It was an area of celebration with many weddings in town and walking by the area. Everyone in the lakeside restaurants cheers for the happy couples. It’s a majestic place. We will return!
Great apartment. Centrally located and felt very safe here. Easy walk to the boats to tour Lake Como and to go to the cable car. Everything very walkable from here. Bed comfortable in the master bedroom. Washing machine which is handy. Apartment on the second floor - no lift, but was manageable.
Bellagio
Great location, just 5 mins drive from the centre, lovely view. Silvia was a great host and sent us lots of information on Lake como beforehand, also great communication for getting the keys and helping us to amend the stay dates. Apartment lovely and clean and had good facilities and parking.
We had the suite and it was incredible. The view from our balcony was phenomenal! The room was comfortable, the staff were fantastic, we couldn’t have asked for a better location on the lake. If you’re going to Lake Como, Hotel Royal Victoria is the only place you need to stay!

Our adult family of 4 loved Varenna and Hotel Olivedo suited us perfectly - great location, rooms, service and breakfast. Amazing view of Lake Como. Noise from the ferry didn't bother us, we found it entertaining to watch the comings and goings from our balcony.
