Mandarmoni, as it seemed to us, is good for 2-3 days maximum. Good place to hang out with friends or family. Unlike Digha, Mandarmoni is quite secluded and clean. Less but quality crowd. Best time to visit is winters as the weather becomes too hot in summers. Nearby places of visits are few temples, Talsari beach and Digha. Hotel Mainak is a very good place for stay. Right on the beach, safe and budget-friendly. The owner is very helpful too.

Its a dirty city and definitely avoidable. Less choices of veg food. Its like any over rated north Indian hill station.

Kalimpong is a hill city at west Bengal having lots of wonderful tourist places like Durpin Monestry, Pineview Nursery, Mangal dham, delo view point. Main kalimpong is a crowded city and much polluted these days as construction works going on. Due to hillside narrow roads there is traffic jam normally.
No approach to sea beach. Lots of bolder was lying approach to sea. Reception person was bad behavior and not cooperative at all. We shifted another hotel at Mandarmani from 21st Oct,23 for rest of four days. We gave fine for cancellation of four days tour amounting 6500.00 approx for your commission because I booked this hotel through You. Staying at Windamere is an experience as it transports you into a different world. The location of the place is excellent where you are in midst of the mall road but away from its hustle bustle too. The property is uniquely designed and have retained the old world charm. The staff and food is personal and top notch. I would like to call out the staff as they went out of their way to make us feel at home. They type their own menu each day and it's something I would highly recommended one should not miss, both their breakfast and their dinner. The bar and the reading room are very regal so I enjoyed my drink as well.

the place is a good value for money and the food they serve is delicious. my 5 year old can not eat spicy food and when I asked the kitchen staffs to make the food accordingly, they have obliged to our requests and made sure we didn’t face any issues with the food.
