The location was super for visiting near by lakes and walking to trail heads.
Field
Located in the Kicking Horse River Valley surrounded by the Canadian Rocky Mountains, these cabins offer stone fireplaces and antique furniture. The staff were fantastic and every little detail was perfect. We were celebrating my partners birthday with a trip around Canada. We were only staying one night and were greeted with a bottle of fizz and it was one of our favourite places out of the trip. Even better than the chateau Lake Louise! Would love to come back and stay for a lot longer.
Field
Surrounded by the Yoho National Park, this property is located in Field, British Columbia. Kitchen facilities are available. Free Wi-Fi is included. The Trans-Canada Highway is 2 minutes’ drive away. The host, location and endless possibilities! If you want to have a chill stay or explore nature and mountain environments this can be easily accommodated here...your base is in Yoho National Park, beautiful hikes and sights are within a short drive away! Field is a beauty mountain town and short walks exploring the town's history is nice too. Charlie is a super cool guy, welcoming and accompanied washer and dryer in the suite was a huge bonus! Firepit couldn't be enjoyed, due to a fire ban and clearly out of Charlie's control, but I see the potential. Kitchen is stocked enough, while as others commented the stove doesn't have enough power for higher heat, but it is easy to prepare for that and if not you can't go wrong with Truffle Pigs restaurant, a minute or so walk from Charlie's. If you stay and the weather cooperates, sit outside at night and enjoy the stars:)

Definitely recommend staying at this place. Everything was clean, the staff was nice and the beds were comfortable. and the best thing is that I had booked a bunk bed for two nights, but when I checked in they upgraded me and gave me my room for the same price. I had my own room for two nights. A very nice and pleasant surprise. Thank you very much.

We got a great deal for this hotel in shoulder season. Had we paid full price I think we would have been disappointed in the tired state of the room decor. That said, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable! We loved the location for access to Banff and Yoho National Parks and ended up staying 5 nights in total. The staff was friendly and helpful :)
The hotels location was the best .. very near to lake Louise and jasper n yoho national parks too. The breakfast was very good in terms of choices for the whole family. The staff helped us move our luggage upstairs. There is a gas station across the road which was also an advantage. There was a fridge n a microwave too in the room
It was the log cabin of our dreams (while we stayed in a suite, it still had the log cabin feels and accents). The setting steals the show, with fresh mountain air, soft fluffy snow and absolute tranquility. A lot of care and attention was brought to the place, from fragrant soaps from Rocky Mountain Soap to a handwritten diary and a nice jacuzzi to unwind in. The solid wood furniture and vintage style lighting, alongside a fireplace made it incredible. We were here for our honeymoon and it certainly did not disappoint!
