I had a wonderful, peaceful, and comfortable stay. Not a bad walk to the castle. The staff was friendly and very helpful and accommodating when I asked about visiting some of the menhirs around the area. As I traveled alone, it's good to know that people care. The pool is heated and provides a perfect space to spend an afternoon. Our dog, Maddi, was welcomed and able to go everywhere, which is such a rarity for hotels in Portugal. Breakfast was consistently delicious during our stay. My husband had the pork cheeks for dinner via room service and was very impressed! Thank you to the owners for creating such a lovely space for us to stay.

First of all the staff was extremely kind and polite, they do the atmost to let you feel welcome. Everyone with a smile! The Hotel is beautifully furnished, very stylish. Everything is spotless clean and well taken care of. We can recommend the Hotel to everyone who is searching for great time off in the Alentejo.

Set in Monsaraz, in a historic building, 200 metres from Monsaraz Castle, Casa Dona Antonia - Monsaraz is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with pool with a view and garden. The property has pool and garden views, and is 48 km from Ducal Palace of Vila Viçosa. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. This place is great! It was the most clean place I stayed at in years, decorated with great taste and with aewsome views. We did enjoyed a most beautiful sunset from our balcony, whirl having a nice red wine, selection of the owner. The breakfast was also great, with some cortesy croissants that were the best I ate in years. What an amazing place indeed!!
