The location was a convenient 3 minute walk to beautiful Playa Bocana which was the best beach for walking that we discovered in the Huatulco area. It was also fun to watch the surfers ride the huge waves and the local fishermen fishing from the shore. The beach is also know for mud baths and very inexpensive massages. Enjoying the sense of community in the neighbourhood the way that neighbours of higher and lower standards of living could co-exist side by side. Always felt safe. When the staff called a taxi it always arrived within a few minutes.
