Breakfast was very good as you can see from the pictures took from others. It is a loft room so we have all the privacy. The beds are comfortable, room is very clean and well decorated. The dressing table made my day! And you can park your car inside the gate. The house is located about 15 mins drive from Amboise, very good location to stay if you would like to the visit the different Chateaus in the Loire Valley. The host also give us discount tickets for 2 Chateaus so we get to buy tickets at group price!

Isabelle made us very welcome and was able to help us with an extended stay (our ferry booking had been cancelled). The bedroom was spacious with a great en-suite. She also spent some time chatting with us, which really helped us. There were nice little touches - like an aromatic herb bag in the wardrobe, Breakfast was very nice with lovely home-made preserves, yoghurt and cake. The breakfast area also contained a huge range of brochures to help with the sightseeing and even a table football machine! The location is extremely quiet - being in the middle of farmland with a 0.9km journey to the nearest road. That said, Amboise was c.15minutes away.

Everything was absolutely wonderful - most of all, our hosts Jane and Kristoff! . We were immediately made to feel very welcome and they had lots of suggestions about where to eat, which chateaux to visit, etc. They even presented us with a lovely bottle of proseco (local) when we told them we were celebrating our anniversary. We were in the Royal Room and were delighted (canopy bed, rich fabrics, huge bathroom with a bathtub). The property is immaculate with a very welcome pool to enjoy a refreshing swim after a hot day of driving. The breakfast was delicious and very generous - eggs, fruit, fresh orange juice, delicious breads and excellent coffee. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous - from the 1700's, wonderful decor and welcoming rooms . We loved it all and only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Jane and Kristoff - we will be back!

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. An absolutely stunning property. We occupied both upstairs and downstairs rooms in the annexe adjacent to the main house. Beautiful large contemporary rooms with nice little touches. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a characterful side room in the main house. Chateau Villandry is a 10minute drive. Not the season to use the pool, but we hope to on another occasion.

Our hosts were friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was delicious with homemade yoghurt, cereals, fresh squeezed juice and a selection of delicious pastries, breads and homemade cake available. There are multiple lounges with access to soft drinks, tea and coffee. There is even a billiard table available for use.
