The rooms and bathrooms were big and comfortable. The house was recently renovated and the rooms and bathroom are modern; the living room has a great view, as one of the rooms we stayed in, and is decorated in the town doctor style.
Breakfast was very good. There was fresh bread, milk, juices, and other options... many more than I expected. The other guests were nice and we had alternative eating times :-) We also had dinner there, which we brought and ate there. The only noise was our own.
The pool was a plus.
The lady was incredible nice and we chatted a little to get to know more about the home.
We were lucky to be there during the religious night ceremony in which we participated and enjoyed a live light fado concert.
GPS took us there without any issues or wrong turns.

I liked the surroundings and setup of the facilities. Clean room. Bed comfortable but small. Fruit as part of breakfast was great. The host drove us to a restaurant, which was nice as walking distance was too far :-)

Sound of birds and fountains. Views of garden and vineyards. Scent of orange trees. Welcoming staff. Sitting in cool of eveni g witha glass of estate wine. House is exceptional better than any hotel. I went to the thermal spa, so enjoyed town within fortress of Moncao. Cycled on ecopista both sides of river. SOLAR de SErrada is out of town but taxis available.

Fantastic location surrounded by vineyards with amazing views from the different terraces. Lovely walk through the vineyards to local village. Property also has avocado, lemon, lime, orange and kaki trees. Great recreational facilities: swimming pool, pool table, table football etc. Well equipped kitchen with fantastic BBQ space. Very welcoming and helpful hosts.
We've stayed at Casa do Desassossego in early July and loved it. Thus, we decided to return, this time with some family. The facilities are exceptional, and Marta, who is the carer of the house, is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is simple but precious if you want to enjoy yourself. The views are beautiful and there's a pool.
We liked all the facilities, the pool, the garden, the space outside for barbecue. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were amazing!
Although, the house is located in a small village it had everything that we needed for a nice weekend. The person who received us was very kind and extremely helpful! The breakfast was also really nice :)
It was fantastic! Everything was excellent and the owners were so nice and friendly.
We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every day.
We loved the peaceful surrounding and great views of the Quinta. We had a great room with airconditioning and with a balcony and a terras.
There are two swimming pools and one of them is even in the middle of the vineyard.
We certainly come back!
