Our stay was more than perfect. Our hosts Yanis and Despina are amazing people, they do everything they can to make you feel like home! And it’s a success. I never felt like that in any places I went before. The facility is beautiful, clean, human size. The breakfast is perfect. The rooms are decorated with a lot of taste. A great hotel for multiple reasons: – The food was great, especially dinners, breakfasts also were good but mostly repetitive – The room was also amazing (dazzling blue with sea view), had a lot of space and comfortable in general, for example it had two separate washbasins and a lot of space for all our stuff – The beach was really nice, however notice that in this part of Crete the wind and some small waves are a common thing

For us it was close to the tennis courts for the tournaments my daughter was playing, it was great to be able to cook our own meals and there is a supermarket across the road. It was good value for what we needed it for and very convenient. You can see the ocean from the balcony and the pool is nice. The cleaner comes in most days and will give you clean towels every second day and change the sheets. You will need your own soap and shampoo, although there is some for the first day. Andreas is very helpful and always around if you need anything. The bus stop is near and it is very cheap to get on a bus, €3.10 to go to the main city (Heraklion) and the airport it takes about 40 min to 1hr. Don’t use the taxi’s the are very expensive and they only take cash there are no meters and they tell you a price. It’s €45 for on the airport to the apartment. There are plenty of ATM’s around. You can walk 10 minutes to a beach with sand to the right and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The beach across the road isn’t great and no sand. When you fly in get the bus to Nana beach, cross the road and walk to the right and it’s just up past the supermarket,with the buses you put alll your luggage underneath the bus.
