We wanted to visit Cape Reinga and discovered this perfect stay as we were searching for accommodations. The room was really clean (best tidiness and cleaning we had in New Zealand) and had everything we needed. A 5-minute drive away is the Tonui Lucid Cafe, which we recommend for breakfast; the view is beautiful and the food delicious. We arrived around 5 p.m. at the accommodation, had a wonderful chat with the hosts, and left our luggage there. We still made it to the grand dunes to surf a little in the sand. Afterwards, there was still time to check out Cape Reingas lighthouse in a marvellous sunset. After a good night's sleep, we went to eat breakfast at the Lucid Cafe, checked out the Gumdiggers Forest, and continued to the Maitai Beach (we absolutely recommend this beach!). So, the place has a perfect location.

Taipa Views Bed & Breakfast is located in Taipa at Doubtless Bay Northland. It is close to Cable Bay and Mangonui. This bed and breakfast provides accommodation with free WiFi and can sleep 3 adults or 2 adults with two children. Super comfy, private, and well appointed. We were exhausted so did not get to interact as we would have liked. That is definitely something we missed out on. Location is perfect for a quick hop over to Huka Falls. Breakfast was perfect, light and fresh.

The place is great! We loved it so much that we wanted to stay! Fabulous unit, best we've stayed in the last few weeks of travelling... And the hosts helped us fix our flat tyre, they were so helpful... 10 out of 10 all round... Brilliant place to stay... Its even right by a beautiful shell beach!

You will find a shared kitchen at the property. The host is incredable person. Super friendly and cheerful. He told us many interesting things about local flora and fauna. The room was super comfy and breakfast delicious. In the morning we tried to milk cows at the neighbor farm and then climbed on Tokatoka mountain with incredable view.
