This cottage has a lot of old world charm, a beauty built in 1926, I loved the Oregon pine floors, door frames and extras which are evident of a 98 year old home.
We spent time playing games in front of the huge fire place and had long conversations around the kitchen table. We did not use the braai area as it was windy over the weekend. Our fur babies felt right at home and enjoyed the large fenced in garden. (Thank you for affording us the opportunity to bring them with - they are an extension of our family)

Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Bonus for us; that Ruebys's Apartment 202 is pet friendly and our fur baby loved every moment and was even catered for (toy box and blankets were provided).
Beautiful Location! The accommodation was better than expected. The accommodation is a bit old but the place was clean and had everything required. The host was friendly and accommodating. We booked a place that was advertised as pet friendly but was not due to an issue on Booking.com. The host was able to accommodate us in another place to stay. The surrounding areas with the waterfalls and pools are absolutely amazing.

Close enough to town to walk but also not too close so you do get a bit of the country atmosphere. Great location - on the edge of town but an easy walk to local restaurants. Pet friendly. Kitchen has a small gas stove so it is possible to make tea or a one pot meal during load-shedding. Also has rechargeable lighting in the cottage which is also very helpful during loadshedding. Close to the dam and walks in the surrounding hills.
The location was great. The property was fabulous. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable, and provided everything we could have asked for, and more. The hosts kept in contact and responded to every email that I sent, and being pet friendly was the cherry. I will definitely use the Fly Shack again and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Dullstroom. Thank you.
