Nicely located for the walks we wanted to do and set in peaceful grounds. The breakfast was very good and it was nice to be able to get a tea or coffee at anytime during day from the lodge kitchen.

Cozy hostel with good facilities. Breakfast was a bonus and not expected. The resident cat also paid us a visit. There was a spa-ish bath but had no time to use it.
Loved the closeness to town and our friends who lived in the area. Nice sized cabin and good value for money. Friendly staff when we chatted on the phone. Generally tidy and family friendly area. Cute pet cat that hung around that the kids thought was the bees knees.
