Mukhatar ( the owner) is perhaps the kindest & most generous person I have met, he instantly makes you feel like part of his family as soon as you step foot on the premise 💞 Not only this but he will go out of his way to ensure your needs are met he will help with everything like; assisting with tour bookings, scooter rentals, laundry & assisting with translations, booking rides to get around town even provides information for places in & around Java such as: recommendations for local hotspots for events, sunrises/sunsets, hikes, cheap food & stores, you name it this man will put in 110% effort to ensure your enjoying your time here. The facilities here are top notch too, from clean bathrooms, a large open living room with a huge TV with its own Netflix account & PS4 to an open easy to use kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, plates, cups, cutlery, utensils, the works! 🍽️ If you're looking for somewhere to spend your time in Yogyakarta this hostel should be on your list, if you're lucky you might even run into the local polylinguist "Mr Saturday" a happy, sweet fella that will always put a smile on your face (if your timing is right you may even score a chance to taste his mouthwatering home cook-ups) or Mohammed the legend of the local nightlife who can fill you in on the the local bars & clubs around town also guaranteed to put a smile on your face both legends in their own right 👊 & often poke their heads into the hostel to say hello! We were very pleased and happy to stay here! Felt very blessed to find Adu Waktu, especially because of the staff and very personal attention and help for planning excursions! The guided driving by Willy and Ari and the all day visits to the various temples and to the tea plantation and Yogyakarta city market center area were the highlights! The breakfast was yummy with lots of fruit and teas and coffees and omelets and green pancakes! We are dinner there every night and it was traditional and delicious! The pool and courtyard is absolutely gorgeous and very much an oasis in the busy metropolitan outskirts! We both will miss it and especially Willy and Ari!
