Mukhatar ( the owner) is perhaps the kindest & most generous person I have met, he instantly makes you feel like part of his family as soon as you step foot on the premise 💞 Not only this but he will go out of his way to ensure your needs are met he will help with everything like; assisting with tour bookings, scooter rentals, laundry & assisting with translations, booking rides to get around town even provides information for places in & around Java such as: recommendations for local hotspots for events, sunrises/sunsets, hikes, cheap food & stores, you name it this man will put in 110% effort to ensure your enjoying your time here. The facilities here are top notch too, from clean bathrooms, a large open living room with a huge TV with its own Netflix account & PS4 to an open easy to use kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, plates, cups, cutlery, utensils, the works! 🍽️ If you're looking for somewhere to spend your time in Yogyakarta this hostel should be on your list, if you're lucky you might even run into the local polylinguist "Mr Saturday" a happy, sweet fella that will always put a smile on your face (if your timing is right you may even score a chance to taste his mouthwatering home cook-ups) or Mohammed the legend of the local nightlife who can fill you in on the the local bars & clubs around town also guaranteed to put a smile on your face both legends in their own right 👊 & often poke their heads into the hostel to say hello! I digress point being stop reading this review & book yourself into the Sleepy Raccoon Hostel ASAP it's an experience you will not regret, guaranteed ✌️&♥️

We’re a couple working since a few months in Jakarta and we were looking for an escape from the city. Rumah Lereng is a perfect location for this. You’re right in nature and the beautiful gardens of the property. It’s not the closest to Bandung city center, and that’s what we liked about it. We wanted a little escape and relaxation. There are lovely animals to hang out with if you like cats and dogs. Pipit’s cooking is delicious. We’ll probably be back!

Bu Ninik and her son went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their photos are true to what we expected. The house is clean and neat, the bedrooms and bathrooms are well equipped. We got complimentary extra pillows and blankets. There are ACs in the bedroom above, but the weather is cool and lovely anyway ... The kitchen is tiny but very well stocked. There are some cooking ingredients plus oils and spices, drinks, and extra gallon of drinking water to enjoy. There's also a washing machine but didn't try it. But the soaps and all are available. The seating areas are cozy, the balconies are also nice. The outside area is also good to seat down, and the kids can run around outside without fearing for their safety. The bakso vendor nearby also sells good bakso 🙂 We are a big family and we'd probably will come back if we ever visit Batu again.

The apartment is located in a convenient location close to local amenities like shops, restaurants, big malls, bank within walking distance and airport can be reached less than 35 minutes . Facilities in the unit like WiFi, hot water, air conditioning, smart key lock, microwave, are perfectly functioning. Bed is comfortable and the unit is clean and super cozy. Access to the pool and gym are also available. Good value for money and highly recommend.
