Really warm welcome.
Ate in restaurant Saturday night. Monk fish was superb. Breakfast Sunday morning excellent. Service and welcome beyond excellent. We travelled to Norfolk to collect our new labrador puppy and will definitely return when he is bigger with him as its dog friendly. Can't recommend enough.
Stayed for 3 nights this week and everything was lovely. Bruce who runs The King William IV greeted us on arrival and made us all feel very welcome, including the dogs. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good and ate in dog friendly restaurant every night and had one of Bruce’s chefs special curry (lovely). All the staff were very friendly and the pub itself was a typical country pub in the heart of the village. Area great for dog walking.
The property is set in a beautiful rural location, waking up hearing the birds singing was a treat!!
Staff were friendly and the whole place a a lovely atmosphere.
Very dog friendly which is a bonus.
Warm welcome, booked a dog friendly room for one night, which was very nice at the front of the hotel but couldn’t hear any road noise. Had our evening meal in the hotel, dogs allowed in bar and restaurant, limited menu but the food was delicious, the best homemade steak pie I’ve ever had, and my wife really enjoyed her chicken supreme. Breakfast also very good, all freshly cooked. Special mention for Karen (reception/bar) who was so friendly and attentive throughout our stay.
Very dog friendly,
Rooms were lovely decorated and a good size, with a big super king size bed.
Beer garden was lovely to sit in the evening, lots of beautiful flowers and a well kept garden.
Food in the restaurant was lovely, we ate their most nights.
Good deals on food, curry night, pie night and steak night.
Steak night was my favourite with a glass of house wine incuded.
Breakfast the full English was beautiful, fried bread with a poached egg on top delicious!
A great hotel, lovely location and staff really helpful and accommodating. The guy managing the hotel, was amazing and really took the time to see if everyone was OK and that everything was satisfactory. Very dog friendly, we will be back.
