The staff at Coul House go out of their way to make you feel special and welcomed. The room was quiet, clean and had restful comfy beds. Enjoyed a very tasty two course meal and enjoyed the fire side chairs in the bar. Lovely one night stay.

I had passed though Avoch (pronounced "Auch") a few times before, not realising what a hidden gem is it is. The property is literally a minute's walk from the shore, and 4 minute's walk from the harbour. Packed with quaint tiny fishermens' cottages in narrow streets, but amenities all nearby. Nobody walks by with saying hello! Everybody very friendly.
Lots of places to visit nearby. I love Rosemarkie with its beautiful beach, shielded from the wind. Cromarty is well worth a visit, especially the museum.
I even went in swimming a few minute's drive away, in Fortrose! (Yes, at the end of October - The Moray Firth has its owm micro-climate!)

Stayed one night before heading to ferry at Ullapool the next day and was in ideal location for this. We had a lovely drive there the next day. We booked the family suite which was very spacious and with a separate bedroom and dog friendly! The rooms were very clean and well kitted out with microwave , plates and cutlery which we didnt use but handy to have if needed. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The nearby co-op was useful for breakfast in morning. Very good value.
Very good stay at hotel, quiet location, room was very pleasant, hotel was what I'd call semi self-catering providing kettle, microwave, crockery and tea, coffee & biscuits as well as communal fridge. Hotel was one minute from train station also which was very handy. And dog-friendly to boot!
Chalets in very peaceful location, great for getting out and about, just ample for a couple. Dog friendly which was a must for us. Owner Andrew was very friendly and helpful, gave me ideas of where to visit whilst husband was walking munros, places to go and walk the dog. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Shower was awesome especially after a long day walking. Kitchen had everything I needed to make our meals. Would definitely be back and highly recommend.
We loved the location as it was close to all surrounding places. We loved how comfortable, quiet and relaxed it was staying here. It was fantastic having the dogs there, very dog friendly.
Chalet had everything we needed, cosy clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Great location for exploring a beautiful area. Dog friendly as well. Owner Andrew was friendly and helpful with any queries.
Superb value for money. Clean, self catering room with a very good shower - all you need after a day in Highlands. Coop shop and bakery just round the corner. Dog friendly which was a huge bonus for us.
