The location is excellent, near the tour horologe and in the centre of the charming town of Avallon. Just a short work to the boulangerie, boucherie, other shops, gardens and the town walls. Central location, the house is well refurbished with large secluded garden, ideal for young families and dogs. We found a well decorated house inside with real Christmas tall tree and lights outside which was a nice surprise. The kitchen is well equipped and the mattresses are soft and comfortable. We did not use the garage, plenty of space outside next to the living room to park and get things in and out the car. The entrance is gated, easily accessible opens and closes with fob key.

Beautiful and tranquil location. Dual aspect room with balcony over looking river and surrounded by autumnal trees. Terrace, great lounge, friendly welcoming staff. Delicious food. It really was all very good indeed.
