Featuring free WiFi and a sun terrace, Manuhie Backpackers Lodge offers accommodation in Bahir Dar. Free private parking is available on site.

For your comfort, you will find slippers and free toiletries.

You can't beat the price and location. Great budget option. The staff are wonderful. Nati met us at the airport and helped coordinate all our tours in Bahir Dar. He even took us out to a delicious fish meal by the lake. I highly recommend organizing tours with him and if you are tight on budget staying at this place. It has all the basics that you need. Only one room's hot water shower works, so don't count on having that. But that's a small price to pay for all the other benefits.

Well located within 5 minutes from the city centre. Exceptional staff, especially Solomon, who contacted me before arrival to arrange a transfer from the airport (not needed). He also arranged onward transport for me on my departure. I was sick on arrival and another staff member accompanied me to a pharmacy. Warm shower, not a given in Ethiopia. Exceptional value. I didn't get to sample the breakfast as I had an early departure.

A really great place, great food and a very good location plus rooms overlooking the lake and springs. It was an amazing trip. We got to see a lot of sites along the way and our destination was simply amazing. The tour guides were amazing and were quite helpful to tell us about all the stops we had made. The staff at Yiganda hotel were very friendly and the trip was over all amazing.

I had a lovely time here. Peter and Cherry looked after me really well and I had a very memorable experience. The hostel is clean, cheap, and comfortable. It's located in a quiet area close to the centre. They helped me organise tours to monasteries, the Blue Nile, as well as a trip to the Simean Mountains. Staying here is a no brainer if you're travelling to Bahir Dar. Thanks guys!
