Our hosts Viviene and Ingo were exceptional hosts from their warm welcome, to the minute we left..our room was wonderful and so so comfortable. Their home was decorated and furnished to the highest standard with wonderful period furniture - a real treat to enjoy ! The surrounding landscape was 'picture postcard' beautiful with rolling fields and backdrop of mountains. We had the pleasure of enjoying one of Ingo's exceptional evening dinners - incredible from start to finish ! Viviene always asked if there was anything we needed and giving us invaluable advice about local places to visit. Superbly renovated building, the room (on the top floor) was pretty large and (again) superbly arranged.
No breakfast on the premises but this can hardly be taken as a negative as there are bakeries very close to the hotel.
Location right in the centre of the (superb) old town, overlooking the lake/pond.
