Our hosts Viviene and Ingo were exceptional hosts from their warm welcome, to the minute we left..our room was wonderful and so so comfortable. Their home was decorated and furnished to the highest standard with wonderful period furniture - a real treat to enjoy ! The surrounding landscape was 'picture postcard' beautiful with rolling fields and backdrop of mountains. We had the pleasure of enjoying one of Ingo's exceptional evening dinners - incredible from start to finish ! Viviene always asked if there was anything we needed and giving us invaluable advice about local places to visit. One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and well-equipped room. Free parking. I booked this hotel to use it as a “hub” for further visits by car to many historic and cultural sights in the eastern part of Switzerland, Lichtenstein and southern Germany (St.Gallen, Winterthur, Stein am Rhein, Zurich, Appenzell, Konstanz, etc.). From this point of view the choice of this hotel in the small town of Uzwil was right.
The hotel was a very nice experience, with the staff very helpful and supportive. The rooms are quite big, very clean and hospitable. We also tried the hotel’s restaurant which is worth a stop. Parking is available around the hotel, and they also offer and EV charging station.
