What a beautiful stay! We were greeted upon arrival, given a tour of the breathtaking views and grounds, and shown our room, which was cozy, quaint, and in immaculate condition. Jeremy was kind enough to offer his fishing rod for a few throws in the beautiful river below our room, Leanne made us the most delicious brekkie before checking out. By far the best stay we've had in a very long time! Couldn't recommend this enough! For those who worry about the parking and their cars, they have shaded covered parking too!
The service was friendly and efficient. The property had a safe, open parking area. The room was spacious with a small kitchenette (appliances: kettle, toaster, microwave, and small refrigerator) The room also had a TV, decoder, and WiFi The beds were very comfortable and had electric blankets.
The cottage is beautiful. Simple and tastefully decorated with a lot of thoughtful personal touches throughout. You can see that the owners are keen to make your stay the best experience they possibly can. The area is very quiet and the secure off street parking (dedicated parking) is a great bonus. Well done team Aloe Garden Cottage! We will happily stay with you again when in Howick.

Loved the comfy beds and how peaceful the property was. The staff were very friendly. Very easy to check in and out and lots of parking available. The property is based on a beautiful river which was gorgeous.
From the warm welcome to the cute and perfectly appointed unit, we were delighted with our choice. The accommodation provided secure parking and everything we needed to self cater and rest on our journey through to Durban. Cathy had thought of everything - even providing the load shedding schedule a d back up gas stove etc in case of power outages. Highly recommend this place if you are passing and need to break the journey.
The room had enough heating options from electric blankets and air aircon n panel heater, The kind gesture of a bottle of milk in fridge ,there was coffee, tea bags n sugar and a roll of Kitchen towel Bathroom was nice n clean, good quality toilet paper ,toilet flush had jeyes blue, host went the extra mile in service Secure parking
The accommodation was compact and comfortable. Easy to find, secure parking and a friendly welcome from the host who was responsive to requests and messages.
A beautiful location in the heart of Hilton. A very large room with a kitchenette. A huge bathroom with a big freestanding bath and a seperate shower. Off street parking with good amenities. Lots of old world charm.
