A garden is featured. It was so comfortable, spacious, clean - all was fabulous. We had everything we needed. The host was great. And it was very close to Tongariro Crossing.

Part of a larger house, Frankie & Hugh's is a renovated, self-contained apartment situated in Ohakune, just a 20-minute drive from the Turoa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. A beautiful mountain stream runs through the B&B gardens, and you can often hear the calls of native birds Breakfast was in the frig; bacon,eggs, toast and fruit. Lovely, friendly hosts with beautiful gardens. Highly recommended.

The private bathroom has a hairdryer and free toiletries. Tongariro Suites is located right within the national park, and the studio room we stayed in was beautiful and extremely clean. There were snacks and food for breakfast that was already put together in our kitchenette when we arrived which was convenient since we were leaving early in the morning and wouldn't have time to stop anywhere for food. There was also a private patio outside our room that overlooked a pond as well as a larger patio outside the common area with a hot tub and outdoor furniture. Strong Wi-Fi and free parking onsite were also a plus!

Featuring spectacular Mount Ruapehu and Mangawhero River views, The River Lodge Ohakune is situated about 8 km from Ohakune town centre. It is a 35-minute drive to the chairlifts at Turoa Ski Area. Dani was an incredible host, very warm and helpful. We loved our stay and the new chalets are such a cosy environment for winter. Finished to a really high standard. Breakfast was delicious and the hot tub was perfect for those chilly winter evenings. We would definitely visit again.
