Its close to the airport and is pretty peaceful. There’s a garden area where I could do bonfire and play music. Theres a very cute cat too which for me was a pleasant plus✨

The owner of the hotel Mr. Gonbo was very helpful, he organized an excellent program for us for four days. The room with balcony is very spacious. On the last night he fed us dinner and lit a campfire. The hotel is located in a very pleasant courtyard with huge trees and vegetable garden with two cute dogs. We will be happy to come back anytime.

The food is DELICIOUS! so good I would rather have dinner with them than in town. I booked 2 nights and stayed five. The attention of Mr. Singay is what makes this place so special. Next time I’ll be in Leh I definitely will stay in Lhachik guest house again.

I originally booked 3 nights online, but stayed again after I returned from a trek and they changed me the same excellent rate I got online.

The location of the house boat is ideal. A short boat ride of a few minutes away from the main street and included in the price. Most houseboats charge for crossings. It is located at the end of the first row of house boats, giving you a wonderful uninterrupted view of the whole lake from your bedroom. The house boat is surrounded by beautiful waterlilies and looks stunning. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe. Abrahim is a wonderful host, who made our experience in Srinagar memorable. He helped us plan our days and even organised a driver for us for our next leg of our journey to Leh! We really felt at home from the minute we arrived and Abrahim was available whenever we needed him. Breakfast was included, and really set us up for the day. We ate on the houseboat varanda, cooked with Kashmiri love accompanied by Kashmiri tea - another highlight. Thank you for making us feel like family, Abrahim!
