The photos really don't do justice to how nicely furnished the apartment is. The host, Emma could not have been nicer and helpful. Parking is easy and grocery shopping is 5 minutes away. Getting in and out of Bayeux for the D Day sites is easy as well. My wife and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Set within 27 km of Tatihou Fort and 33 km of German War Cimetery in Audouville-la-Hubert, Manoir de Pierreville provides accommodation with seating area. Manior de Pierreville is a great B&B. Its very small--only 5 rooms and the owners are lovely. The breakfasts were huge and delicious--usually included bread, croissant, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, homemade jams and butter and coffee/tea. We had the family room on the second floor, which was clean, with a full bathroom, very large, two beds, bright and really lovely. It had an air conditioner, but we didn't need it (even in July). Remy was a great host (and speaks great English)--he greeted us every morning and was really helpful in suggesting local restaurants and things to do. The B&B is in the countryside, but very convenient to all of the D-Day sites. Its only about a 5-10 minute drive from Utah beach. And there are a lot of other small beach towns to discover nearby (easy parking right at the beach at most of them).
