Very good location, not just for the town but also for the Normandy beaches. Easy walk into town to all the restaurants. Room was excellent, very big and super clean. Easy car parking.
Absolutely loved the location and the many many historic places to visit. Parking was the only issue here but we could park in the adjacent car park from 7pm until 9am next day for free.
Excellent location if you want to explore D-Day beaches, big enough rooms and free parking. Internet works very well. Arromanches center is 5-10 minutes walking distance and Bayeux is also 5 minutes with Car, around 8-9KMs.
Firstly, what excellent reception staff - they really helped us and made us welcome on arrival. They gave us a diabled car parking space behind the hotel which prevented us from having to park some distance away - a real bonus!! The hotel also has an elevator (lift) which again was a real bonus as my wife requires a new knee so stairs are a difficulty. Location is fabulous with sea views. Room clean, warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here!
Let's be realistic, this hotel is an old lady, it survived the war, its a typical french 2 star hotel with a creeky staircase and full of history and character and it delivers the basic needs. Its worn in places, but its clean, the rooms are comfortable and have been modernised. It faces the waterfront with views over the mulbery harbour and the new D-Day musuem is right underneath the Hotel. Free parking on site, round the back.

Location was perfect with short drives to a lot of the normandy beaches/museums. Nice car park nearby with free parking Apartment was super clean and beautifully presented. Really comfy bed. The balcony is a nice spot to relax in the evening.
We had our own car so found location of apartment very convenient for visiting the beaches and sites we wanted to visit. The apartment is right in the centre area so easy walk to restaurants, shops and bars. A 10 minute drive into Bayeaux to shop at the Carrefour and do laundry. Car parking was great we used the free parking behind the Mairie (1 minute walk to the apartment) and there always seemed to be a space available.
