It was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed at. Spotlessly clean, equipped with everything one might need during a longer stay. There were a lot of towels, the bed linen smelled really good, the beds were comfortable. We felt at home immediately. Quiet location but close to popular sights. The hostel in Carentan is quite close (up to 50 km) to many of the relevant D-Day sights (Sainte-Mère-Église, Utah-Beach and also Arromanches-les-Bain, Omaha-Beach, Bayeux etc.). This was one of the main reasons for us to book here. Furthermore we loved the restaurant in the patio where we had lunch two times during our stay . This is highly recommendable. Furthermore the hostel has a free parking lot across the street.
Nice quiet location, within walking distance to the town. Very clean and well equipped property with private parking. A nice garden with outdoor furniture. Plenty of room for 2 people.
The location was perfect. So far we could park the car every day in one of the close by free parking grounds in front of the Hotel.
Got food places all over. Personnel was very nice. They clean/make up the bed every day if you aren't around. The breakfast was ok, nothing special.
Very nice little hotel in the Centre of Carentan. Exactly as we expected for a small French hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, room was small but as expected and everything that we needed was provided. Great location for exploring the town. Continental breakfast was nice. Overall great for what we paid and we would stay again for sure. Parking is plentiful across the road from the hotel.
