The hotel had character and our room had a view of the river. The have a very reasonably priced package tour where you stay overnight in a cabin in the jungle after a full day of activities and canoeing down the river. We took it and the family loved it. The hotel is in a quiet part of town, but only a few blocks from the main plaza and the beach where all the monkeys play.

Staff are fantastic. Breakfast was yum. Bed was comfy. Very secure parking. I checked in around 5.30pm and asked if I could get laundry done and it was no problem, it was ready in the morning, great service.
The location was close to the "Papallacta Hot Springs" which we visited on our Ecuador road trip. The Family room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good and the host was very friendly. another plus for this pace was the gated parking lot.
This hotel is the perfect example for the essential accomodation and services that any traveller needs. Nothing more, but nothing less, but gives you everything you expect. Perfect location, english speaking staff, free parking, WiFi and comfortable room of course. All of this without unnecessary administration and questions. It's rare to give 10 points to budget hotels, but this hotel definitely deserves.
The stay was pleasant and I appreciated the secure parking for my motorcycle. I like that the property was off of the main road.
The location is very good, since the lodge is located next to the Misahualli River, with direct access from the property to the river. It is less than 1 km from the property to the center of Misahualli (you can leave the car park at the lodge and comfortably walk to the center) The attention is personalized and very good!. The cleanliness and space in the rooms are OK. There is also a cafeteria with a fridge, kitchen and everything you need. The gardens are very beautiful!

Great hostel. Quirky cabanas, clean, comfortable beds. Very eco friendly, with powerful, hot showers and composting toilets, which were hygienic and not in the least smelly. Breakfast was good, with eggs, fruit, croissants, fresh juice and coffee. Helpful staff. All set in a tropical, jungle like garden. Secure onsite parking.
