This is a clean and comfortable, basic motel. The motor lodge is across the parking lot from the inn and restaurant, a five-minute walk. Everything works, the room is clean and bright, a little pricey but good, reliable quality and comfort. They now have new key fobs in place of the key cards that were not working. The restaurant is reasonable for breakfast.

Amazing staff!!! Good location and I like the covered parking and easy access. This is one of our favorite places to stay. Katies was acceptable but not what we wanted for our anniversary night away ☹️

We often stay here when skiing in South Lake Tahoe. It is an easy drive, roughly 45 minutes to Kirkwood and 30 to Heavenly. Though, I wouldn't recommend the drive during a winter storm. The room was recently renovated. Everything was clean. Staff was friendly. The motor-lodge does not have a pool or spa. You'd have to walk across the large parking lot to the main building to get to these services. You can't beat the price.
