We had a very pleasant stay in Quinta da Alcaidaria. The host is very nice and welcoming and gave us many suggestions. We managed to relax and enjoy the calm and the greenery and the kids loved the pool, Scooby, the dog, and Sputnik, the cat. Breakfast was also nice and the game room was a nice way to spend some time. If you like history, a rustic style and a quiet stay, this is the place for you!

The nearby places we visited were so beautiful, that it was a shame we didn't have more time to enjoy this particular property. The host, Sílvia, was the BEST!!! She made sure we were comfortable, gave us a snack of fruit when we arrived, served us an amazing breakfast, then even went above and beyond by driving us to the train station the next morning. Amazing stay!
