This place is AMAZING. I didnt know, but it is a traditional Japanese country house, more than 100 years old, tatami floors, futon bed, little gardin looking to the mountains. It was one of my best stays in my Japan trip so far. Also, Ashi (the host) is super nice, he even drived me to Magome the next day free of charge. Thank you, Ashi. I recommend very much.

This place is much better than the pictures make it look! The facilities are in tip-top shape, everything is super clean, and best of all, the room was much bigger than it looked, and the bunk bed was extremely comfortable.

It was great staying in a traditional Japanese home from the 1600's. Dinner and breakfast were served to our "house" and the onsen was great as well. It is nice spending some time away from a city or town. You are surrounded by nature!

The room was really spacious and clean. The front desk receptionist was really kind and warm. She helped with luggage delivery and was really informative of the town. The hotel had a onsen I could not use, due to tattoos, but that was okay. Definitely a hotel worth the stay.

It was a very nice place to stay, located in the middle of magome juku... The owner was very helpful, had very good english and went above and beyond to accomodate us and help out as needed. The host was super friendly and very helpful, even when we had some additional requests. Thanks so much for all the help! The rooms were veeery spacious (converted classrooms). The shared toilet & shower facilities were also very clean and nice—overall the building interior felt very new.
