I want to thank Mr Paulo and all the staff for the wonderful reception and stay. The team was without a doubt exceptional and made our stay worthwhile. We booked for the annex building, however we got an upgrade to the main building. As we had a long delay in the flight, they called us to check if everything was ok and to indicate where they would leave the room key and to inform us of the upgrade they made and which we really appreciated. We stayed in a room with a balcony, with two floors, one double bed and two single beds. The bathroom is spacious and the bed was comfortable. The balcony also has a table, chairs and sun loungers. Breakfast was very good, with homemade products, as was dinner. The dinner included a salad buffet and a 3 course menu, 2 starters and 1 main course , of choice. As I am a vegetarian they made the adjustments possible to accommodate my requests. On the last day they even left us a note on the breakfast table to thank us for our stay. As we were in town for the OCR European Championship and we were leaving in the afternoon, they let us keep the room until later so we could shower before continuing our trip, we left at 2pm without a problem. There is a car park very close by, as well as a bakery and supermarket. The staff are really helpful and make the hotel even more pleasant. The area is beautiful and we want to come back in winter. This is a beautiful apartment designed with love. Our host gave us a great welcome & showed us around. He did not mind us putting on the fire just for the experience. A lovely bottle of wine was also left out for us. It was easy to communicate with the host with prompt response if we needed anything.

At the day of our arrival we had some issues and our estimated time of arrival was around the reception's closing hours. We had called the hotel and asked if we still be able to check in. They assured us that there will be someone to welcome us until 10pm the latest. Also they were extremely polite to leave at our room light dinner as the restaurant was already closed - it was so romantic with two glasses of wine, cheeses and salami and two desserts. We had stayed in one of the renovated rooms which was so cozy and very beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the mountain view from the balcony amazing!
