The property was spotless, our room was spacious with a large scenic balcony. The bathroom was modern. Breakfast was varied and beautifully home cooked. We ate there each evening and thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian food served to us and the company of Surinder our host’s father. Asheesh and his family were gracious hosts. We were delighted to meet them and to be their guests. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.

Very peaceful place. The room was good and comfortable. The seating lounge on the top floor was brilliant. One could sit there in the evening, have snacks and drinks. The food was also good, especially Murg malai tikka, butter chicken and the retreat special malai seekh kabab. Housekeeping service was excellent. It is a good place to stay in Shimla, connected to Mall road, great view, and service. The only issue is that the parking is not available in hotel premises, but the MC parking nearby can compensate. However one can stroll the mall and ridge at night, when crowd/people staying in far places leave early.

We booked for 2 adult for 1 night. The guy aashish who helped us when we check in, allowed us to make a choice of convenient room for us .
Noise was controllable. Our room and common areas were clean .
We were tempted to even stay one more night because of this guys excellent services. Parking lot is bit farr away ,.and it is a struggle to get there.
