The location, decor, room size (we were given an incredible upgrade to a suite) and food & beverage was exceptional. if this wasn’t already enough to knock our socks off, the staff we encountered were the icing on the cake. It’s one of the most serene and peaceful bed and breakfast escapes I’ve encountered. Barrow House full breakfast and conversation was a treat. The owner is a wonderful woman who is more than happy to offer tales about the property or advice on where to go in the area. It is definitely a place I would want to return to.

Peggy was very welcoming, without being over fussy. I'm sure she would advise on places to see in the neighbourhood, but I was only there for a 9am NCT at the centre 3 minutes away. The room was so clean it was as though everything was brand new! There are places to get a meal within a very short walk,
