We visited very little of Tralee but found the town centre within walking distance of our Hotel. The Brandon Hotel. We visited Supervalu and posted a Birthday card to my son in the post office. We popped into the Dominican Church and said a little Hallo to Jesus on our way back to the car. It was/is a beautiful church.

I think Tralee was great.
I think Tralee was great. It wasn't full of tourists but was easily accessible to all sorts of attractions. The town had everything one needs. The people were friendly, and it was easy to get around, The train station centrally located. We stayed at the Ashe Hotel. Loved the city center.

Absolutely class town for shopping, dining or drinking.
Absolutely class town for shopping, dining or drinking. Lots of shops are grouped together so shopping is made easy. Coffee shops everywhere with outside seating.
Music on the streets with some amazing buskers.
If you have a tight shopping budget, don't worry, there are a few 2nd hand shops, Pep & Co and of course Penneys.
Lots of good hotels in town too.

This was a great stay for our short trip.
This was a great stay for our short trip. Very close to eating establishments and bus and train stations. Lovely and very clean accommodations. We loved Finnegan's Pub where Sean, our bartender really made us feel at home. What a great welcome to Ireland! This place was so well located! We walked from the train station to this property very easily and my husband has Parkinson's. The hotel offered a lift which was great. "The Mall" was literally a two minute walk and full of stores to shop and places to eat. There was also a bus stop very nearby for us to get to Dingle.

Very nice town, and very clean.
Very nice town, and very clean.
There was a lot going on the weekend we were there, but it was still very easy to get around and find parking adjacent to the town centre.
Our kids loved the Aquadome and would have stayed there for the entire visit!.
Tralee was also a great starting point for daytime to Dingle, Killarney, etc.

Very quiet place, no noisy planes or cars. Big difference, great escape from big city life.
Feel like at home. All you need is in place.
Welcome goodies: crips, choclate, Tea, coffee, milk.
Around 15 minutes drive to the Ballybunion beach, 20 minutes drive to Tralee so very close.
Very competitive price. A whole house for the price of a hotel room.
Very nice and helpful owner.
We enjoyed our stay.
Ballyseede Castle is fascinating ! Not only is it a beautiful “ old worldly “ hotel but it’s very much like staying at “ your favorite relative’s home “ where you’re treated like family, the dogs roam freely and are so loving and you immediately feel at ease. I travel solo and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ballyseede. It was truly one of the highlights of my trip in Ireland.
Hotel bar was very busy when we arrived. We were staying in the annex which is a separate building out the back. Although it looked rundown outside, the rooms were clean, well presented and comfortable. We were emailed after booking to say there was no breakfast available which was disappointing but there were plenty of places in Tralee to get breakfast.
Fabulous hotel lovely food very clean and comfortable and parking right outside perfect location we have stayed several times always the best place in Tralee we'll be back 😃
