The owner Eileen is very friendly, patient and helpful. In her house rich breakfast is offered to the guests, from Irish breakfast to chocolate milk for my son. Our room is very clean and spacious with wonderful seaview. It takes 20 minutes on foot from her house to the seaside. We are lucky enough to see the low/high tide on the coast. :)

We spent a most memorable week at Cottage by the Sea. The cottage, garden and views are just lovely and our dog, Maggie, loved exploring the secure garden. We met John next door who was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The cottage is the perfect location from which to explore West Cork - a week just wasn’t long enough!!

Kitchen well stocked, plenty of comfortable seating in the living and dining areas. Pretty location and welcoming host. Bernie provided tea and cookies on our arruval, and had fresh flowers, which was a nice welcoming touch!

小さなキッチンがついており、コンロはないが、マイクロウェーブがあり、便利だった。オーナーさんはパン、ハム、シリアル、ミルク、など朝ご飯を取れるように冷蔵庫に予め入れておいてくれたので、ありがたかった。

The property was great! It was very clean, had all amenities, including a washer AND a dryer. The kitchen was well stocked, and the place was centrally located to all we wanted to see.
