The room was fantastic, very nice, open, with a view on the lake! It was exactly as it looked on the pictures. A paradise! Everything was also super clean. The houses are located in a nice garden, where we even saw howler monkeys! Sanctus and Alida are super nice and took so good care of us! They also prepare nice meals, with a lot of care. We really felt welcome in Posada del Cerro. Sanctus also arranged a trip to Yaxchá, and a shuttle service to Rio Dulce at the end of our stay. We really loved staying in Posada del Cerro!

Casa aleman is an amazing place. The views from the terrace are breathtaking, especially during sunset. Even better than the place are the two hosts. Amazing is a word which doesnt describe the full extent of their beings. Whatever we needed, whichever wish we had, the fulfilled it even before we could say it out loud. They invited us for dinner and helped us widening our horizons and discuss about life in all its facets and entanglements. If we are in Guatemala again, our first destination is the Casa Aleman! The two of them know more about Tikal and Guatemala than any guide could have told us. Do me favor and visit casa aleman :)

The woman is very nice to wait for us even though we arrived very late at night, around 11PM. The beds are equipped with mosquito nets.
Great location, nice and friendly staff, safe parking
The room was spatious and we had our own bathroom. The staff was very friendly. Good parking space in safe location close to the rooms. The restaurant was of excellent quality and good options (but consider that prices are higher than in town). Close to the lake, walking distance access. We had the possibility to change USD, which was very handy.
The place is beautiful and has its own pier on the lake. Could be better with more loungers or hammocks but nevertheless this is unique. We had bungalove which was very good choise with own bathroom and air conditioning and terace, beds comfortable. There is parking space. Is good place to visit Tikal. You can have some rest after and before. They have their own restaurant.
Location is nice, close to the lake on the way in to Tikal, but as it is a bit uphill still quiet and private with parking behind a gate. The apartment is one big room, with some modern touches and kitchen facilities that work.
