Very nice and well kept apartment, equipped with a full kitchen and very clean. Tasty welcome cake :) Everything is nicely designed and on a very quiet alley in the center of the village. The owner was very helpful, even if we needed a bit of Google Translate for communication. The village itself is quiet, typically Greek, and has an interesting small canyon (Spiliotissa) starting there that you can easily go through.

Lovely little town square down the road, excellent bakery right in front open 6 am to 11 pm when we were there. Country location, great for visiting Knossos. Never seen a cleaner place. Lovely owners speak no English but communicate through google translate.

Very welcoming lovely couple who made our first night in Crete very special - we got dinner (with Raki :) ) although we arrived very late, could swim in the nice pool in the morning and had a very big breakfast with a variety of great homemade dishes. A lovely house and a very warm welcome from the hosts. Our flight was delayed and we arrived late in the evening and were greeted by Stella's parents showing us the house. They prepared a large plate of Greek salad for us, which was very much appreciated after the long journey. This was accompanied by a bottle of white wine from their own winery. Thank you! The house is spacious, nicely furnished and feels like home. We enjoyed the evenings on the large balcony at the front. The location was perfect for us as we didn't want to stay in Heraklion but close enough to the airport and Knossos, which we were visiting the next day. A supermarket is not far away in the village. We only stayed for two nights as we were travelling around Crete, but for us it was a perfect stay and start of our holiday.
