The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). The location was perfect to visit the city of Oxford and the University. It was a very short walk on the lovely tow path to reach the main road through town. the owners were gracious enough to allow us to store luggage after checkout time so we could take a tour.

We loved our Stay at the Oxford Riverside Glamping with our 2 little kids. We had wonderful weather so it was very nice to stay in a tent and live outside. The facilities where good and at night the Glamping was like a fairytale with all the lights on . The View was stunning and the Glamping is a great location to visit the Cotswolds, Oxford, Blenheim Palace etc. We didn't want to leave.

Sabine is a beautiful property and good location if you want to stay a bit away (and in a less expensive area) but still close to Oxford. There are a couple excellent pubs close (but not quite walking distance), and our host provided info on how to get into Oxford by bus -- no parking, bus runs to late, late night! "easy, peasy" The room & bathroom were great (lots of space and very clean), the shared sitting area (with the other 3 B&B rooms) was a nice option. We didn't partake in breakfast, but I'm sure it was excellent and it wasn't too much more.
