Great communication before arrival with Jo the host who along with her husband Bernie made us so welcome. The accommodation is perfect, clean, spacious and everything we needed for our short break. A lovely welcome hamper was left in our room with delicious bacon, eggs, bread, yogurts, croissants, milk, cereals, tea and coffee. The bed was so comfy so a good night sleep wasn't a problem. Askrigg is a beautiful little village with 3 pubs who all serve lovely food. There is also a small local shop and a cafe/deli. Perfect location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. We highly recommend the property and the location.

Quiet street about 300 metres from Main Street with off street parking. Clean, comfortable beds and general furnishings which appear recent. Well equipped kitchen and a small enclosed area overlooking a river.

A very well renovated cottage containing everything we needed. All was very clean and comfortable. Powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Some tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied. Great location, very quiet and nice views a short stroll from cottage. Very nice walk into Hawes across the fields (paving slabs marking footpath most of the way). Safe parking for our two motorcycles on the drive at the end of the terrace.
Just one thing to bear in mind, there are no toiletries provided so bring your own.
Great old pub in the centre of Hawes. We enjoyed a comfortable and spacious room on the first floor which was generally quiet. The food was surprisingly good, much better than we expected and so much so we ate both evenings as well as breakfast during our 2 night stay. Thre is no parking adjacent to the pub, but we found ample street parking just a few yards up the street. The staff were very helpful and all in all we had a brilliant stay and would hightly recommend it.
marvelous stay. Lovely helpful staff. Good food.
Sadly no parking but managed to find free parking close
by.
Our stay was spoilt only by a local resident close to
the hotel who played loud music until
1am.
