The hotel is located in a ship with a varied history - used during wartimes, but also for trade, then for a playboy‘s party life, it had been left unused for many years before the current owners restored it. Hotel rooms are designed as cabins with en-suite bathrooms, breakfast and drinks are served in the upper deck. We loved the design of the rooms and common areas - high quality and nicely classic without any kitsch. Service was impeccable, and while breakfast was rather simple, the bar served very creative cocktails. Certainly a very unique experience!

Staff is very professional and helpful, clean rooms, comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast. Our weekend in Edinburgh will truly be one of the best trips so far.
