The apartment was very comfortable, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The stay was a brief overnight stay and I didn’t have an opportunity to explore the area but the location is very pretty.

The Stables is an unusual accommodation in that it is a lovely “Cottage Style” separate building in a farm setting. Very quiet and perfect for a few nights stay. Apart from the basic but comfortable bedroom there is a nice bathroom, lounge and small but adequate kitchen - think comfortable Youth Hostel style accommodation ! Phil & Fran (hosts) were very friendly and helpful. Need to supply own food needs but some scones, butter and clotted cream available with your visit - a Nice Touch - thank you.

What a find ! Cozy lodgings with a double bed and two singles, fantastic bathroom with shower, private driveway, entrance and parking. Balcony views across the little valley, TV, Microwave, Kettle & Toaster. Plenty of crockery and cutlery. Put your used plates, bowls and utensils in the bowl provided and the owner will replace with fresh ones ! Honestly, not having to do the washing up makes all the difference - above and beyond our expectations.

Fantastic location, lovely host, clean and comfortable property. It was very well equipped with pretty much everything you could possibly need. You can see sheep from the windows and bats come out in the evening. It was easy to find and had good parking. The quilts and pillows were the softest and most comfortable I have ever experienced.

Lovely bed, food and staff. As a solo female traveller it was nice that they took my food/drink order over the phone and bought it to my room. It was also nice to have a separate entrance to come and go without having to go through the pub. Shower was nice and powerful. Parking available but not at peak meal times due to pub customers.
