Our stay at the Pension was a pleasure and the owner was great - really nice and helpful. and at night you can listen to the sound of the river flowing right behind the Pension - awesome experience.

The hosts were fantastic. They helped me get an iron so I could iron my dress for a wedding that day. The room is very spacious, and was cool even during the hot summer months. It is very clean (totally spotless!) and had all the amenties required. The buidling is very cute and right in the heart of Meissen. Definitely stay here instead of a hotel:) The room, location, hosts surpassed my expectations! Thank you Sabine for everything you made us very welcome. A little tip on staying in Meissen - to get there we recommend taking the train from Dresden that comes very frequently (every 10-15 minutes) instead of taking a cab (65euros from Dresden). We also enjoed the stadhouse museum and cathedral (Dom) in Meissen. If you are passing through Dresden definitely check out the Zwinger which has three incredible museums (porcelains, paintings, and mathematical/scientific history).

Lovely apartment in an old farmhouse. The location was great for us as we managed to do day trip every day (Leipzig - 1.5hrs, Dresden 30mn, Meissen 5mn and more). It was all we wanted for the holidays, a quiet place after day trips. Everything was very cleaned, very good condition, the beds very comfy, dishwasher, washing machine, good wifi for our daughter. Plenty of supermarkets in Meissen. Own terrace to have breakfast / dinner outside. Managed to go the pool (small but it was fine for a dip) and the sauna. The hosts were very nice, very helpful. We had some little chocolates to say welcome. Lovely touch.

The place is located among the vineyards that are surrounding Meissen from the north. It's not in the Meissen directly, but it's close enough, especially when you're travelling by car. The place is incredibly clean and cozy, the balconies with the view of the sunset were just magnificent. The WiFi was working properly and contained everything we needed. The whole area, with all small buildings and gardens give an impression of staying in a marvellous small estate outside of town. We stayed for just a night, but it was good enough for us to think about returning for a bit more time. The host was very nice and even though she was not super fluent with english she did her best to communicate in an understandable manner. In summary, a place to recommend, a place to check for yourselves. We're looking forward to return and stay longer than just a day.
