Hotel restaurant has a great view on the Elbe and the castle. Breakfast was very good. In the nice weather one can enjoy a park with the same great views or the terrace. Room comfort was alright.

I've been fortunate enough to spend the last 2 weeks travelling through Germany, starting in the north west and heading east. The best hotel, by far (Quedlinburg was good too) is this one. Stunning location on the banks of the river, the property is beautifully maintained and is quietly stylish without being over the top.
I probably got a particularly good deal by booking early, but for £47 (c€55), I got a great room, perfect bed, and the breakfast was delicious. Top class stay!

The town is beautiful and worth traveling to, but a very important note: if it's a weekend trip travel Fri- Sun. Everything even some restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday. Being spoiled Berlin dwellers we came into town for a Sun-Mo trip, and got to enjoy only about 30% of what the area has to offer.

The town is so beautiful!
The town is so beautiful! It's easy to reach any place, because the town is not big. We traveled by car, but we also walked a lot in the Old Town. The architecture is amazing. Especially I recommend to visit Albrechtsburg Castle. It's just fantastic!

The location is in a quiet area, 15minutes walking distance to both meissen altstadt and meissen bahnhof. Watercooker is available to make tea/ coffee in the morning, since there’s no bakery nearby.
Early check in was possible, I got a messenge in the morning, so that was really nice. The room
is really clean and spacious.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Meissen so if you're into urban tourism, do not hesitate to book a room. The building is full of character and the breakfast was outstanding (prosecco included)! We even ate in the hotel restaurant and we can also recommend that! Really tasty.

The host also provided us with a bottle of water and 2 small wines as a welcome.
The apartment is also very close to 2 supermarkets and 5 min walking to the centre.
Fantastic location in a walking distance from the centre of Old Town. Safe and secure parking option available at the hotel for an additional charge. Amazing Breakfast served with plenty to choose from.
We liked the hotel, it's clean and beautiful. The breakfast is hearty, lots of choice. Lots of parking space, horses nearby, ponds, a garden with a restaurant, the food is very tasty.
