The host made us feeling like home. She is extremely welcoming, prepares amazing breakfast, coffee and house-made lemonade in-between. I can definitely recommend the offered tour to the Tatacoa desert. They also organized a collectivo back to neiva for us.

It was really cool to be out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The hotel is very rustic and located on a functioning ranch with cows and horses and everything. It is also walking distance from the two grey desert hiking trails. The owner was really friendly and fun to chat with as well as helpful with anything we needed. The food was also some of the best hotel food we’ve had.

Everything! I wish I could stay here longer to enjoy this beautiful eco friendly location. Lovely friendly people, beautiful nature surroundings and cute huts. Fall asleep on a comfy mattress protected with mosquito net and enjoy nature sounds. The pool filled with river water is so refreshing and calming. They also had vegan and vegetarian food :D

I liked it all. Probably it is really the best accomodation option in the area. For one or two nights you have everything needed. The AC worked well, the small pool I used late in the evening when there was no sun. The staff was very helpful and immediately reacted on our questions about guides and drivers: while I was finishing a sentence, they were already calling one.

The location is great as it’s really close to the Tatacoa Desert. We stayed here for one night on a ride through South America on our motorcycles. Ricardo and his wife are really pleasant people and we were able to store our bike there for the day while we were visiting the desert.
