We loved staying at Gran Azul, it is perfectly located just 5min walk from the town but offers the quietness and the nice view of the mountains. Margarita was extremely welcoming and helped organizing some fun tours around Solento. The breakfast was very delicious and served in a nice common area.

We had a fantastic stay! The place is located in a very peaceful area in the area just outside Salento. It is very easy to reach town taking the bus just outside the accommodation (every 10 minutes, 0.50$) or with a jeep that they can call for you (5$). Camilo was a great host and speaks English very well, he really did anything he could to make our stay special! Thank you!

Nice small hotel in beautiful garden walking distance into Salento town (5 mins). The staff needs extra mention as they were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, always available to answer our questions via WhatsApp or in person. They gave helpful recommendations for tours to Cocora Valley and coffee farms in the area.The breakfast was made fresh to order plus a small buffet with fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and toasts. We especially loved the sauna and jacuzzi that we were able to reserve every evening after a long day hiking and exploring the area. Free water in the room every day. Rooms were very clean and spacious. If you ask at reception, they give you umbrellas, a hairdryer and help with laundry (very cheap, done within a day).

This is an ideal place to spend a few days of pure relaxation, immersed in the nature of Salento. The rooms are simple but equipped with everything you need. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. We chose to dine at the hotel every evening to enjoy the beauty of the location, its common areas, and the food, which is truly excellent.
The hosts also organize horseback excursions that allow you to experience a typical local activity in an exclusive way, far from the usual tourist paths. Among the many coffee farms to visit, the hosts recommended a young, authentic, and less touristy option that we really appreciated.
They also offer a variety of other activities that we heard great things about but didn't participate in, as we preferred to enjoy some free time in the tranquility and beauty of the place.
The value for money is excellent, and the photos don’t do justice to the beauty of this location.

The room and environs were wonderful. Idyllic setting in the middle of nature with abundant flora and mountain views. And on a working avocado farm! Pablo is a superb host, solicitous and accommodating. Staff, incl Alejandro, were lovely. Food was terrific too. Fresh and delicious! As someone who hates bugs but loves the outdoors, I was totally comfortable and bug-free in my room! A gorgeous respite in between visiting Colombia's cities. With great hiking and waterfalls right on the property. A 5-min local "Willy" ride to the Corcora Valley. And a short ride to Salento. And the transportation service they use is fantastic. Andrea is wonderful. Wish I could have stayed more than 1 night and hope to return!

Very clean and also looks like recently renovated, bed was pretty confortable for the price, balcony view was nice, location just behind the main square. They have courtesy water and coffee and free parking
The location is absolutely perfect and there is a free parking right next to the hotel. The staff is very helpfull and the restaurant is good. At night they have a cosy terrace with a grill a drinks.
By the way, the beds are amazing!
Very quiet place - each room is a separate unit. Outside space with views to the hills and joy of joys, a small kitchen area so we could make coffee. Breakfast is brought to your room and it is served on the deck which is a pleasant touch. The hotel is a few minutes walk to restaurants and the centre of this charming town. Off street parking.
Great spot in the Cocora Valley! Very clean and comfortable, good food, and decent wi-fi (given how remote it is). Would definitely recommend it and would recommend the hike to the waterfalls as well. Only (small) complaint would be for ALL lights to be shutoff at night. The view of the stars is incredible, but unfortunately the parking lot spotlight was on during our entire stay resulting in a less than perfect view of the night sky.
Very good location right in Salento off the main plaza. We were originally meant to stay at another hotel that was a 10 min drive from town but glad we switched here at the last minute. Rooms were simple, clean, and comfortable. Worth paying a little more for a room for a balcony. The little parking lot was great so we didn't have to worry about public parking. Helpful and kind staff.
Excellent value for money, good location, great staff, nice room and very attentive team and staff. Wasn't expecting free parking to also be included, so that was a bonus.
